Bell. Opened a shop in Cambridge to make scientific instruments, invented the gramophone
and the dictaphone, developed hard, flat disc wax record, collaborated with Bell for 7
years. Settled a dispute with Thomas Edison in 1887 over a patent claim on phonograph. |
